Regimantas Paulionis, who had been terrorized by the KGB for a long time (see Vytis, no. 5), did not arrive at the seminary.
Some time later, permission was granted to admit Petras Baniulis in his place. He along with sixteen other applicants had been rejected in August by the Soviet government. The following applicants were not admitted to the theological seminary because of persecution by the Soviet government:
